Opening Reception: ROBYN TSINNAJINNIE, A SHARED EXPERIENCE
K Art invites you to join us for the opening reception of the solo exhibition, ROBYN TSINNAJINNIE, A SHARED EXPERIENCE at K Art Gallery, on Friday, March 22, 6-9 pm.
At the heart of Tsinnajinnie's new collection lies the foundational idea of introducing viewers to the intricacies of the world Tsinnajinnie constructs through her paintings. Offering a glimpse into a realm where women confront challenging issues and assert control over their surroundings, these artworks serve as a gateway to empowerment.
Each of the four paintings showcased reflect experiences that women universally encounter. Through her art, Tsinnajinnie endeavors to provide a means for healing, both for herself and her audience, by visually articulating these shared struggles.
This exhibition, "Robyn Tsinnajinnie, A Shared Experience," features previously unseen sketches that showcase Tsinnajinnie's process and thoughtful placements. She meticulously selects and arranges figures within her compositions, weaving powerful narratives. Tsinnajinnie notes, "I create shapes and shadows with color and, more importantly, convey feeling through my color palettes. After sorting through everything, the painting starts to evolve."
K Art is proud to collaborate with Spotted Octopus Brewing Co on this special event! Experience the captivating evolution of her sketches into stunning final artwork, alongside a special pink hefeweizen beer, which the artist aptly named "Pink Ladies" inspired by her bold color palette.
