We're also celebrating Black History Month with the WNY premiere of the gorgeous Andante Moderato by Florence Price, the first African-American woman to be recognized as a symphonic composer, and the first to have a composition played by a major orchestra. Maestro Christopher Weber concludes our program with a rousing rendition of Victor Herbert's luscious Serenade for Strings. Plenty of off-street parking. Free for ages 17 and under. Stay afterward for our reception where you can meet our artists and enjoy champagne and authentic Chinese swe...
