West Center Church Presents "We Need a Little Christmas! And Arias"
West Center Congregational Church, 101 Pondfield Road West, Bronxville, NY 10708 will present a special Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 2 PM in the Sanctuary. "We Need a Little Christmas! And Arias!" will feature mezzo-soprano Kelly Guerra singing classical Christmas arias and recitatives from Handel's "Messiah" and arias by Jacques Offenbach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and others. She will also sing popular Christmas tunes such as "I Wonder as I Wander" (John Jacob Niles), "White Christmas" (Irving Berlin), "We Need a Little Christmas" (Jerry Herman) and more. Ms. Guerra will be accompanied by her husband, Eric Sedgwick on the piano. After the concert there will be a reception with light refreshments in Bodge Lounge.
There is no admission charge and all are welcome. The Sanctuary and Bodge Lounge are accessible to wheelchairs and strollers, and there is free parking on the street.
