Lunchbox Learning: Dr. James Kimble presents "Red Wisconsin"
Dr. Kimble is a professor at Seton Hall University and a historian who studies domestic propaganda, war rhetoric, and visual imagery. “Red Heartland” will examine a fake communist coup in small town Wisconsin in May of 1950. Through newsreels, interviews, media accounts, and archival documents, Kimble will offer an intriguing spotlight on American history while challenging today’s citizens to examine their own patriotism and commitment to national unity.
