The Osborn will host the New York Times bestselling author Fiona Davis discussing her latest book, The Stolen Queen, on May 8, 2025, from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Free and open to the public, this WellSpring Series event will take place in The Osborn’s Auditorium at 101 Theall Road, Rye, NY.
Fiona Davis' newly released novel The Stolen Queen is set in 1978 at the Met Museum, and tells the story of a curator in the Egyptian Art Collection who unwillingly teams up with a Met Gala assistant to track down a stolen artifact. The hunt takes them from New York City's glamorous "Party of the Year" to the desolate Valley of the Kings in Egypt. Part of the book also takes place in Egypt in the 1930s, when the curator was a young archeologist.
