J House Local Artist Series: Jay B. Wilson
Celebrate some of the area’s best artists with our new Local Artist Series at the J House Greenwich.
Our March Featured Artist will be Jay Wilson. We will be hosting one show per month. Our March show will be on Tuesday, March 21th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Drinks and light hors d'oeuvres will be served. Tickets are $15.00 per person. A portion of our proceeds will be donated to the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.
About the Artist:
Based in Greenwich, CT, Jay B. Wilson has worked as a fine art photographer for over two decades. His focus includes documenting the beauty of Connecticut’s Gold Coast and New York City, as well as his travels across the United States and around the globe.
Wilson is drawn to tall buildings, lush landscapes, and salt water. Wilson’s photography has been exhibited recently at institutions such as the Carriage Barn Arts Center, Greenwich Art Society, Greenwich Historical Society, and Rowayton Arts Center. His work is in private collections around the country, as well as corporate collections including the New York Hilton and Andaz Fifth Avenue Hotel. Wilson has had solo shows in Westchester and Fairfield Counties and New York City, including two exhibitions at Google’s New York headquarters.
Wilson’s work has also been featured in Popular Photography, Greenwich Magazine, Fourculture Magazine, the Manhattan User’s Guide, and Photogrunt. He is an exhibiting member of the Rowayton Arts Center, The Carriage Barn Arts Center, and the Greenwich Art Society.
