The Bergen County Historical Society, a 501(3) non-profit organization announces that its Raise the Roof Gala dedicated to supporting the construction of a new 3,750 square foot history museum in the heart of Bergen County at the 13-acre Historic New Bridge Landing site in River Edge, NJ is set for Thursday, November 7th, 6 pm- 10 pm at Seasons in Washington Township, NJ.
Admission to the gala includes an evening of lively entertainment, dinner, a silent auction, and recognition of extraordinary honorees who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and shown dedication and commitment to preserving and honoring New Jersey history.
Distinguished Gala honorees being recognized as New Jersey History Makers include Thomas Eastwick, President, Eastwick College, The Ho-Ho-Kus School; Jim Kirkos, President and CEO of the Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce; Dr. Lisa Tank, Acting President of Hackensack University Medical Center & Hackensack Meridian; Roger Gross, President of NIA National Realty; Jeffery Vasser, Executive Director, NJ Division of Travel and Tourism (accepting in absentia); and New Jersey LT. Governor Tahesha Way (invited).
All proceeds raised will go towards the transformational museum building that includes all facets of the project- the museum construction, planned exhibits, and educational programming which will be visitor ready in time for our nation's 250th Anniversary on July 4, 2026.
Tickets are $195 and include a 1-year membership to the Bergen County Historical Society and $175 for BCHS members. The suggested attire is dress business casual with a patriotic flair.
