Baklava demonstration
Scarsdale Woman’s Club member Angela Salvarakis, who learned cooking and baking skills in her native Greece, will demonstrate the making of the sweet, nutty and flakey baklava Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. Salvarakis will be assisted by her friend Mary Ann D’Amato, and will share samples of the delicious sweet.
The program will be held at the Scarsdale Woman’s Club, 37 Drake Road.
