Scarsdale Woman’s Club: A Century of Service
During the month of March, the historic Scarsdale Woman’s Club (SWC) will be on exhibit at the library. The SWC was established in 1919 by a group of women who had been volunteering together for suffrage and the war effort. They established the club to continue their goals of sorority and philanthropy. Today, the club fosters a message of education, cultural enrichment and philanthropic involvement.
