Longtime Scarsdale resident Jennifer Manocherian will discuss her debut novel, “Alpha Bette,” in the Scott Room Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 7 p.m.
“Alpha Bette” takes place over the course of a day and involves preparations leading up to a party given by Betty Gartner, a 95-year-old widow. Different points of view, motivations, dreams, hopes and fears are revealed through the cast members.
Manocherian has worked in public relations, as a family therapist, divorce mediator, theater producer, musical book writer, screenwriter and now novelist. She is married with five children and 15 grandchildren.
The book is available online in paperback, e-book and Audible.
