The Rockland County Music Teachers Guild presents soprano, Megan Weston and pianist Michael Fennelly in a concert on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 1PM at the Pearl River Library. This
free concert includes selections written by Bach, Liszt, Strauss, Franz Lehar, Kurt Weill and Louis Moreau Gottschalk.
Megan Weston’s career has spanned over 50 operatic roles in the US and abroad. She has sung in programs with the Metropolitan Opera Guild at Lincoln Center and in concerts at Carnegie Hall. Most recently, she sang chamber music programs for Friends of Freiburg University and the Liederkranz Foundaiton Concert Series as well as programs with teacher’s college Columbia University and West Point.
Michael Fennelly has toured extensively on all 7 continents. He has performed in many of the world’s great concert halls including Carnegie Hall, Opera de Monte-Carlo (Monaco), Prinzegarten Theatre (Munich) and Komische Oper (Berlin). He has performed with Renee Fleming in Manhattan, The NY Philharmonic under Alan Gilbert and the Buffalo Philharmonic under JoAnn Falletta.
