Grow Your Own Veggie Garden

You’ll learn all about soil health and ensuring your soil is nutrient-dense, how and where to plant your crops, how to prune your veggies, how to identify and prevent pests and disease, and more! We'll also share our favorite resources to expand your learning and provide plenty of time after each class to get all your individual questions answered. The series costs $175 and includes seven 45-minute presentations followed by Q&A and a “starter pack” of 10 seedlings grown by us in the Van Vleck House & Gardens greenhouse ($50 value) to get your garden started. Meetings will be held via Zoom weekly on Saturday mornings at 10 am, with 2 in-person sessions on May 4th and May 11th. (in-person) May 18: Maintaining your garden: learn about pruning, trellising, irrigation best practices, and harvesting
