Have you ever wondered about the history of your home? Mahwah houses range from the old stone houses built in the 1750s to modern constructions built this year. Cathy Moran Hajo will provide an introduction to researching your house and property history. She will provide an overview of the resources available to help learn when your house was built, who lived in it before you, and how to find information about its architectural style.
Cathy Moran Hajo is the vice president and archives director of the Mahwah Museum. She is a historian who works at Ramapo College, directing and editing the Papers of Jane Addams as a freely accessible digital edition. She has a Ph.D. in history from New York University and a B.A. from Ramapo College.
Registration is now open. In-person and virtual tickets can be purchased through our e-bookstore on mahwahmuseum.org.
