Sunday Brunch/Music with New Middle Class
Jazz on Main presents 2 sets of the award-winning singer/songwriters New Middle Class. Playfully serious, heartfelt and slightly bent, the award-winning music of Barbara Borok (lead vocal) and songwriter Mike Borok (guitar/vocal) has been played on over 60 radio stations world-wide. Their "adventurously original" songs walk a thin line between the funny and the serious. They sing about relationships and current events gone awry, the origin of the universe, life, death, and dessert.
They were grand prizewinners in the Music To Life song contest at the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival, and were featured in the 2023 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artists Showcase. Mainstage at many other national and regional festivals, as well as local venues including the Town Crier Café and The Turning Point.
