Ofrenda Fest: The Elements - Indigenous Film Program Plus Song Circle & Storytelling

April 23, 2-9:30pm Ofrenda Fest Schedule: 2-5pm: Song Circle and Storytelling We know sound and frequencies can change our mood and vibrations. Many indigenous communities use sound, chants, icaros or songs as prayers during their rituals and ceremonies. During the Ofrenda fest program we will offer song circles with some of these communities like the Hunikuin, Mexica, Sapara, Shipibo, Ramapough, among others. 6-9pm: Film Program - Indigenous Voices Ofrenda Fest is a festival that promotes art, film, music, photography and ancient traditions. Our goal is to offer a space to honor and reconnect with the Earth through ritual and ceremonies in a fusion with the arts, in New York City.
