Ringwood Friends of Music presents Umi Garrett, Pianist
Ringwood Friends of Music begins its thrilling 40th anniversary year with a rising star - the extraordinary pianist Umi Garrett. Acclaimed for her exquisite musicality, emotional and mature sound, flawless technique and virtuosity, she was a Young Steinway Artist and first prize winner of the Juilliard School’s Concerto Competition. “It’s not every day you hear someone so prodigiously talented it brings a tear to the eye.” (Winnipeg Free Press)
