Second Annual Hope Day Celebration

Greenwich Together, in collaboration with the Yellow Tulip Project and Kids In Crisis, is thrilled to announce the second annual Hope Day celebration. This community event promotes youth mental health awareness and suicide prevention. This free event welcomes individuals of all ages to the Arch Street Teen Center on Sunday, April 28, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Hope Day will feature a variety of enrichment activities designed to foster community engagement and support mental health initiatives. Attendees can look forward to community art projects, individual stretch sessions, live music, poetry performances, and delicious food and refreshments. Information tables providing valuable community resources will also be available, highlighting local efforts in mental health support and youth services. The Arch Street Teen Center, located at 100 Arch Street, will be the perfect backdrop for this empowering event. The festivities are designed to celebrate Hope Gardens, a project initiated last October by volunteers dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Greenwich’s youth. The Yellow Tulip Project, spearheaded by high school student Julia Hansen, focuses on breaking the stigma associated with mental illness through community action and open dialogue. The project’s symbolic yellow tulips represent hope and are a beacon of support to those in need, reminding them they are not alone. For more information about Hope Day, the Yellow Tulip Project, and other Greenwich Together and Kids In Crisis initiatives, please visit the websites at www.theyellowtulipproject.org, www.greenwichtogether.org, or www.kidsincrisis.org. Join us in fostering a hopeful, supportive community in Greenwich. Together, we can significantly impact the lives of our youth and ensure a brighter, healthier future.
