Celebrating 86 years of dance
To commemorate the Steffi Nossen School of Dance’s 86th anniversary the school will celebrate the legacy, lineage and longevity of the school, curriculum and community in a gala dance concert and reception Saturday, March 25, at 7 p.m. at the White Plains Performing Arts Center.
Jocelyn Lewis, a 2020 Scarsdale High School graduate now at Connecticut College, will return to perform a work she co-choreographed with fellow Steffi Nossen Dance Co. alumna Sarah Dames; it was originally created for a 2020 performance that had been canceled due to COVID.
Scarsdale dancers also performing are Aarushi, Eva Aggarwal, Grace Allen, Liam Moer, Leah Vinod, and sisters MacKenzie and Stephanie Avolio of Hartsdale.
