World-Renowned Humanitarian Mpho Tutu van Furth to Present Forgiveness Programs

Join the conversation we all need now as Trinity Spiritual Center in Southport presents world-renowned humanitarian and author Mpho Tutu van Furth for "The Healing Power of Forgiveness: The Freedom of Letting Go" -- three programs on March 1-3, 2024. Mpho, daughter of the late Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu and Nomalizo Tutu, will share her experience and show attendees how to use some of the unique tools that she has developed in her work promoting peace, justice, and reconciliation in our own daily lives. Mpho will speak at three different times during our weekend with her – attendees can participate in one, two, or all three programs. The Reverend Canon Mpho Tutu van Furth is an episcopal priest, an artist, an author, public speaker and retreat facilitator. She is the canon missioner for Beloved Community in the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe and serves at All Saints mission congregation in Amsterdam. Rev. Tutu van Furth has co-authored several books with her father, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, including The Book of Forgiving. She was also featured in the documentary, “Mission: Joy – Finding Happiness in these Troubled Times,” and has shared the stage with the Dalai Lama, Ken Robinson, Eckhart Tolle, among others.
