Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra ERAS GALA
THE ERAS GALA - A celebration 60 years in the making, a fundraiser, and a special performance highlighting six eras (decades) of great music! Music on the program for THE ERAS GALAS includes lively and beautiful pieces or excerpts of significant pieces – Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro Overture; Charles Ives’ Unanswered Question; Mikhail Glinka’s Ruslan & Ludmilla Overture; excerpts from Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”; Aaron Copland’s Hoe Down from Rodeo; George Gershwin’s Lullaby for Strings; and the marvelous and engaging Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev. Live and Silent Auction Items.
5:30 PM Cocktail Party for Eras Ticket Holders heavy hors d’oeuvres, sweet treats, and wine will be served
