"Boo the Shoe" Bowl Colts vs Ravens 10-11-21
Hey Indy, it's been 37-years. Ya'll know "What Time it Is". Here in Ravens Country it's our 25th Anniversary-year since '96. That Horseshoe was here for 31-seasons like Roy Jones would say, "Ya'll Musta Forgot" but we haven't. Back in 1977 Johnny Paycheck released his hit song "Take this Job and Shove It", I ain't working here no more. This is not a Welcome to Baltimore moment, you can take that shoe and shove it. You ain't welcome here no more.
In '77 the last time the Baltimore Colts (12-24-77) made the playoffs for Charm City vs the Oakland Raiders now Las Vegas the play that defined the game was the "Ghost to the Post", the Stabler to Casper 42-yard pass play late in the 4th quarter to set up the game-tying field goal in regulation. The game went into double overtime with the Raiders winning 37-31.
It's 2021 and there's no Ghost left in the closet. For the Indianapolis Colts its "Boo for Shoe". It's not Halloween just yet, but you understand. As for Johnny Paycheck this is a Johnny Payback in the spirit of Johnny U so let's get it on in the "Boo the Shoe" Bowl.
