In an immersive environment, students learn pinch, slab, and coil construction methods as well as the use of molds. They will decorate works with treatments that include stamps, stencils and silkscreen. They will also learn how to give their pieces the finishing touch with glazing techniques. Sculptural, decorative, and functional possibilities in clay are explored through brief demonstrations, class discussions, and individual consultations. Maximum 12 students per class.
