This Event has Passed
On Saturday May 30, there will be 54 musical acts performing across 16 locations in 1 afternoon. Making the day even more special is that the majority of the venues are residential front porches. Regular people are giving up a piece of their home for musicians to play to an audience seated on their lawns. This casual format is what transforms a concert into a true community event. Bands will lug their gear to play just one set for no pay, at hosting homes who receive no money, managed by people who are all volunteers, for the benefit of many that they don’t even know. This is a real labor of love. This is Branford Porchfest.
