President Biden to Visit Charm City & The "Charm'tastic Mile" on Thursday
October 19, 2021 - The "Charm'tastic Mile" of Baltimore (Love That 1.3) www.thecharmtasticmile.com. President Joe Biden is expected to talk part in a CNN Town Hall meeting from Baltimore this coming Thursday (10-21-21). The President is trying to unite Democrats on his agenda to fight climate change, expanding the access to more education for middle-class working families. He's also attempting to get more support in his continuous battle with Senate Republicans.
President Biden is gearing up to face questions on the economy, the continued problems associated with the Pandemic, and the economic recovery of those efforts. He may also face questions about his withdrawal from Afghanistan and it's lingering effects.
Biden was the U.S. Senator from Delaware from January 1973 - January 2009. He was Senator for 14 of the 16-years that William Donald Schaefer (1971-87) was the Mayor of Baltimore and the introduction of the Charm City nickname coined in 1975. In 2016 when he was Vice President The "Charm'tastic Mile" (April 25, 2016) was first introduced to the City of Baltimore. The famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of downtown that connects Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor & Harbor East is the newest of America's Most Famous/Iconic Street.
The "Charm'tastic Mile" this past September 19, 2021 was given a Governor's Citation by Gov. Larry Hogan (Republican) honoring the 2nd Anniversary (9-19-19) of the 1st Ceremonial/Honorary street sign unveiled by The Mile at the corner of S. Calvert & E. Pratt Street entering the Inner Harbor. The "Charm'tastic Mile" on September 15, 2020 was published as registered trademark with the www.USPTO.gov.
Thursday's Town Hall will be hosted by CNN's Anderson Cooper and will last 90-minutes.
