Day Retreat – Wisdom and Awakening
An Invitation
Someday after mastering winds, waves, tides and gravity, we shall harness the energies of love, and then, for the second time in the history of the world, humanity will discover fire. – Teilhard de Chardin
As wisdom, across the ages, will attest: awakening comes at a cost. To harness the energies of love… to move from separation to connection… to shift consciousness requires a discontinuous leap into a new way of being. This is an invitation to explore what form 21 st century Wisdom might take. As Cynthia Bourgeault reminds us:
“Wisdom tends to come above ground at times when the planet is going through great changes or when consciousness is about to take a major new leap to a new place, a new level of understanding.”
What might this mean for our personal journeys and the communities of which we are a part? To that end, I would like to invite you to a Day Retreat.
