Bridgeport, CT – URSA Gallery is proud to present a one-of-a-kind art opening and concert event, In Medias Res. Embracing the transformative phase of our space, the event celebrates the creative process, offering a rare glimpse into the middle stages of opening an art gallery and coffee roasting business.
In Medias Res, Latin for “in the midst of things,” encapsulates the essence of this event, providing attendees with an immersive experience that highlights the beauty of creation and evolution. The gallery/coffee roasting space, still under construction, becomes part of the exhibit itself, allowing visitors to engage with the art and the environment in an entirely new way. Featuring work by Tyrome Tripoli, Kyle Kouri, Thalia Hernandez, Frank Foster Post, Alexandra Rutsch Brock, and more, In Medias Res showcases an array of captivating artworks that resonate with the theme of transformation and progress.
As the evening progresses, the second floor of URSA Gallery will transform into a vibrant concert venue, featuring live performances from an eclectic lineup of bands and DJs, including ItMeMisha, FünkY FaiS, Goonmetal, Pond View, and Every Branch. Music lovers and art aficionados alike will revel in the energetic atmosphere, as they experience the raw and unfiltered creativity of these talented performers.
