Weavers Guild of Boston Fiber Arts Sale
The Weavers’ Guild of Boston is delighted to announce its highly anticipated annual sale event, offering a diverse array of handcrafted fiber art items just in time for the holiday season. Hosted at the Weston Art & Innovation Center, located at 356 Boston Post Road, Weston, MA 02493, the event will take place on November 1 from 10 AM to 6 PM and November 2 from 10 AM to 5 PM.
The Weavers’ Guild of Boston Sale is an excellent opportunity for shoppers to explore and acquire unique gifts, ranging from fine wearables to charming towels and elegant table linens. Crafted with passion and skill by local artisans, each item promises to add a touch of artistry and individuality to any home.
“Shopping local not only ensures you find one-of-a-kind treasures but also supports the talented artisans within our community,” remarked a Karen Harmin, chair of the Sales Committee. “By attending our sale, you're not just purchasing beautiful handwoven products; you're investing in the growth and sustainability of our local weaving guild.”
Admission to the event is free, and all major credit cards are accepted. Moreover, a portion of the proceeds from the sale will be dedicated to supporting the Weavers’ Guild of Boston’s educational programs and grants, furthering the organization's mission to foster creativity and skill development in the art of weaving.
In addition to the shopping experience, attendees will have the unique opportunity to witness the art of handweaving firsthand. Throughout the duration of the event, a guild member will be stationed at a floor loom, inviting curious visitors to observe the intricate weaving process and ask any questions they may have about this time-honored craft.
