Five multidisciplinary performances focus on the female-gendered body and its relationship to the spaces it inhabits in this contemporary context.
Bodies create impact, leaving impressions on space and time—whether through poetry, skin cells, or rage, an imprint is woven into the particles of a continuum.
Five artists of varied ages, disciplines, and backgrounds will present their perspectives on embodying the female-gendered form. In our contemporary era, the female body continues to be a focal point of judgment, projection, and mystery. Each gender and expression carries its unique challenges, questions, and gifts. Through these performances, we will examine the multifaceted experience of inhabiting a female-gendered body.
