ROCK N’ ROLL CIRCUS with Jon Butcher, James Montgomery, and Danny Klein to benefit The Open Door

Loaded with high-energy, high-octane rock, the Rock n’ Roll Circus is an explosive show that will be “Nothin’ but a House Party”. This great line-up features 2 Grammy nominees, 2 New England Music Hall of Fame inductees, 2 Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame inductees, a New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee, a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee, and more! The line-up features Jon Butcher, known for his days of Johanna Wild, Jon Butcher Axis, Barefoot Servants, and time performing on Experience Hendrix tours, he is one of the most influential performers in Boston, having toured the country opening for the J. Geils Band, Def Leppard, Rush, and the Scorpions. Danny Klein, co-founder of Boston’s world-renowned J. Geils Band, will be bringing his bass along with him as he has to stages across the world for decades to provide a bit of soul to the show. The show though would not be complete without the presence of New England Blues Legend, James Montgomery, known throughout the region by anyone born from 1940 through the millennium; consistently filling venues throughout the region and renowned for his epic performances lasting over two hours. A relatively recent enhancement to our shows is the introduction of a remarkable horn section. Describing them as merely extraordinary would not do them justice. It consists of Andrew “AC” Clark, a local known for his tenure with John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band. Over the years, AC has also graced the stage performing alongside Rock and Roll Hall of Famers such as the Rascals and the Beach Boys. Joining AC is Dan Cipriano, whose impressive credits include performances with renowned artists like Joan Jett, Wilson Pickett, Mitch Ryder, and Spencer Davis. Completing the horns is Baron Raymonde, who was a touring member of Rod Stewart’s band and with Blues Brother Matt “Guitar” Murphy. Adding even more depth to the performance, Greg Sherrod will contribute his dynamic vocals. This Connecticut-based singer, whose influences span soul, blues, rock, funk, and more, will bring his powerful and soulful voice to The Cut, further elevating the evening’s musical experience. Not to be overlooked in this show will be the backing band consisting of drummer AJ Vallee (Southern Rock All-Stars, The Peacheaters, Starr Faithfull and One Night of Queen). Bassist, Tim Archibald (Barry Goudreau’s Engine Room, Peter Wolf’s House Party 5, NEW MAN and American Vinyl All Star Band, with Barry Goudreau and Skunk Baxter) and on keyboards Todd Farland (Nasty Habits), and guitarist James Germana With a line-up like this expect some classic Montgomery songs, Jon Butcher Axis, Hendrix, Johnny Winter, and a mix of the songs these performers have played on stage as they’ve toured the world. The Open Door is a local food pantry whose mission is to alleviate the impact of hunger in our community. The level of services they provide to the local community is too grand in scale to be able to describe here. But after my recent visit to their facility, I knew I had to some how or other find a way to help them with their mission!! This show is produced by Rockin’ 4 Vets/Alive & Kicking Productions, which produces Vets benefit concerts throughout New England to support organizations assisting Vets on issues related to PTSD, addiction, and homelessness
