LEAVING IRENE is a Boston-based rock band blending raw storytelling with nostalgic rock melodies, drawing from influences like Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, and U2. Formed by cousins Rocco and Jake DeRosa, the band creates music that mirrors the emotional connection with their audience, combining Rocco’s expressive vocals with Jake’s intricate guitar work. Their debut EP, Basement Springs, was shaped by industry veterans Brian Scheuble (Stevie Nicks, Dave Matthews) and Dave Collins (Bruce Springsteen, Third Eye Blind), bringing a polished yet raw sound.
