Jordan Call Featuring Gray Gafarov and Guests
Saturdays at The Bebop is the debut album of Jordan Call, a jazz guitarist, composer, and producer. It features the talents of some of Boston's very best jazz musicians playing in the gypsy jazz style pioneered by Django Reinhardt, with Gray Gafarov on the violin and bass, Stephan Tenney on trombone, and John Clark on clarinet. The album consists of all original songs written by Call and Gafarov, and it provides a modern take on a vintage swing style. Come for the excitement of live improvisation, stay for rich, golden tones of this all-acoustic ensemble.
