Brian O'Donovan presents: Alan Reid
Alan Reid has taken Scottish folk music all over the world. He was at the helm of Scotland's Battlefield Band for 40 years (gulp!), recording almost 30 albums with this hard working outfit. More recently he toured and recorded 5 albums with duo partner Rob van Sante. Now solo, Alan has been noted for his pioneering keyboard work and for his songwriting on Scottish themes, especially its history. Performing on piano, guitar and accordion Alan delivers an engaging programme of Scots song old and new for your entertainment.
