Thayer Public Library Spring Concert Series - Free Evebt
Multi-faceted musicians and longtime collaborators who provide fresh, creative performances for their audience. This dynamic jazz trio’s repertoire includes jazz standards, driving swing, the Great American Songbook, R&B, Latin, and original music.
Playing together for 20 years throughout MA, CT, and RI, The Randy Cloutier Jazz Trio features drummer Randy Cloutier, upright bassist James Hunter, and pianist Rufus Davis.
As a freelance musician with a Music Performance degree from Berklee College of Music, Randy has performed extensively in and around the New England area with various groups, including The Rat Pack, the Temptations featuring Grammy winning vocalist Barrington “Bo” Henderson, musical theater productions, and toured throughout the Caribbean while performing aboard the cruise ship, the Zuiderdam, with the Holland America Cruise Line. Bassist, band leader, and composer James Hunter is also a member of the Eastern CT Symphony Orchestra. Both James and pianist Rufus Davis are in high demand by many groups throughout the tri-state area.
