The 128th Boston Marathon is being run this April! Paul Clerici has written extensively on the race in the “Boston Marathon History by the Mile,” “Images of Modern America: The Boston Marathon,” and the newly released “Boston Marathon Traditions and Lore”. He supplements his storytelling with a multimedia presentation of images, which include some from rare collections, and some never seen before.
Paul Clerici's combined experience and knowledge as a runner (competing in nearly every distance from the mile to the marathon, including 2 triathlons and 43 marathons, among them the Boston Marathon 23 times), journalist and writer (covering the sport of running for over 35 years for a variety of media outlets) is reflected in his popular books and talks. Books will be available to purchase and can be signed by the author. No purchase is necessary to attend this free program.
Held in Logan Auditorium on the Upper Level, accessible by elevator from the Parking Lot Entrance at the rear of the building, this program is made possible through State Aid funding.
