Lowell Chamber Orchestra Concert: "Music Of Reflection"
Led by music director Orlando Cela, the Lowell Chamber Orchestra will open its sixth season with music that explores the concept of “reflection.” In this concert, whether it is the optical phenomenon, or the act of contemplation, music turns into lights, nostalgia, and even gossip! Featuring a brand new commissioned work entitled "La Balena" by Betsy Schramm, Cory Brodack’s winning work from last year’s call-for-scores entitled "Chandelier Reflections", Korngold's Suite from "Much Ado About Nothing", and Katharina Radlberger, LCO’s concertmaster, as soloist for Mozart's Violin Concerto No.3 in G Major.
This concert is presented as part of the Menotomy Concert Series in Arlington.
Admission is free; donations gratefully accepted.
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
