OPEN MIC @ Guitar League
Guitar League is throwing open the doors and inviting the general public in for an Open Mic night. As you may know our meetings are usually more formal by having musicians present songs for our members to learn and play. Often we will bring in a presenter with extensive performing or songwriting experience but we’ve never undertaken an Open Mic.
So for our July meeting we are inviting any players who would like to take the stage and perform for themselves and our group. Typical open mic rules apply:
Sign up begins at 7:30. and will play in the order that they sign beginning at 8:00
Songs are limited to two unless directed by the moderator
Sorry no backing band but members might be willing to back you up
PA and amps provided, bring your own instrument(s) and accessories.
Please feel free to invite any musicians you may know who might be interested in attending this event and we'll see you there!
