The Summer Stoic

This summer workshop is designed to explore resilience, wisdom, and personal growth. The Summer Stoic is perfect for both newcomers to Stoicism and seasoned philosophers alike, we'll offer perspectives on ancient wisdom that resonate with modern life challenges.
Throughout the workshop, participants will engage in a variety of activities aimed at integrating Stoic practices into daily living. Each session begins with a brief lecture on key Stoic principles - such as the art of indifference to externals and the pursuit of virtue as the sole good. Break-out sessions include guided group discussions that challenge us to reflect on personal experiences through a Stoic lens.
To deepen our understanding, we will incorporate practical exercises like journaling sessions and short readings to spark ideas and teach the Stoic response to adversity.
