Bridgeside Hot Girl Cypher
Saturday, September 17th, the Bridgeside Cypher will hold its first-ever women empowerment-themed event at the Multicultural Arts Center in Cambridge. "The Bridgeside Hot Girl Cypher" will be hosted by Nancia, a talented RandB singer from Massachusetts, and Jillian "Just Jill" Girardin, Executive Director of the Cambridge Hip-Hop Collective and local hip-hop artist. This event will include a jam-packed lineup of ten talented local rappers and singers backed by a live band. The featured artists will perform collaboratively, including an open mic portion over Hip-Hop/RandB classics. The general public can find free tickets on Eventbrite and Bridgeside Cypher's Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube pages under the tag @BridgeCyph.
The Bridgeside Hot Girl Cypher is part of a weekend series of cypher events at the Multicultural Arts Center through the Live Arts Boston Grant awarded by the Boston Foundation. Friday, September 16th, is the Bridgeside Super Cypher, celebrating hip-hop, including freestyling, beatboxing, dancing, and scratch DJs. The series ends on Sunday, September 18th, with Bridgeside Community Day with writing and poetry workshops and community discussions with local educators and keynote speakers.
