Quincy 400 Maritime Festival


The City of Quincy proudly invites residents and visitors alike to celebrate Independence Day weekend at the inaugural Quincy400 Maritime Festival, a vibrant three-day waterfront celebration held on the Marina Bay Boardwalk. The festival is a showcase of Quincy’s storied maritime legacy and vibrant community spirit. Running from Friday, July 4th through Sunday, July 6th, this free, family-friendly festival will feature live entertainment, historic reenactments, children’s bike and wagon parade, schooner tours, and much more. 

With free admission and free parking, the Quincy400 Maritime Festival offers something for everyone — from history lovers and foodies to young families and music fans. 

Schedule of Events: 

Friday, July 4 | 2:00 PM-9:00 PM

2:00 PM: Festival Open, DJ Live (Stage)

3:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Opening Ceremony with Mayor Koch (At the Clock Tower)

3:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Lexington Minutemen Reenactment

5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Jungle Jim Balloon Magic Show (Kids Entertainment)

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Performance by Maddi Ryan

7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Performance by the Orchid Reed Band

 

Saturday, July 5 | 10:00 AM-10:00 PM

10:00 AM: Festival Open, DJ Live (Stage)

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Children's Bike and Wagon Parade (Kids Entertainment)

12:30 PM -1:30 PM: Puppet Showplace Show (Kids Entertainment)

1:30 - 1:45 PM & 2:30 - 2:45 PM: Flagship Drumline

3:00 PM-3:30 PM & 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Middlesex County Fife & Drum 

5:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Performance by Matt Heaton & The Outside Toys (Kids Entertainment)

7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Performance by The Sultans Band

8:30 PM – 10:00 PM: Light Up Your Boat Display

10:00 AM: Festival Open, DJ Live (Stage)

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Decorate Dinghy Parade

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Performance by Ayla Brown

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Lexington Minutemen Reenactment

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Robert Clarke Magic Show (Kids Entertainment)
