Join seasoned choreographers Stewart Herrera, former head instructor at Salsa Sundays at the Ryles Jazz Club in Cambridge and Yesenia of Quinceañero Choreography for Latin night at the Larcom Theatre, where they will teach you Salsa. Characterized by passion and sensuality, salsa dancing is a fusion of Latin American and Caribbean dance styles that is popular worldwide. Anyone can register for this class! Perfect if you are starting or have never done Salsa before! This class focuses on the Beginner dance steps, connecting them, partnering elements, turn combinations, timing and understanding the rhythm—social dancing to follow. No experience needed.
