● WHEN: Dance 6:00-9:00 pm (it is easy to learn the ropes here)

● WHERE: Arlington Knights of Columbus #109, 15 Winslow St, Arlington, MA 02474.

● WHAT: For a great cause: St Mathews Food Pantry in Dorchester. We will be providing a drop off for food as well as our usual donations. (After covering the cost of holding the dance) AND > to celebrate the traditions of community dancing! You do not even need to know how!

● WHO: It is a public and community shindig! All are welcome AND bring a partner as we partner up there and you will find a partner!

● WHY? To have one heck of a good time and support local charities! .

● CALLER: DON HEINOLD hailing from Rhode Island, Don Has been calling at dances, weddings & parties all over New England for 15 years. Don is also known for teaching the popular Rotary Waltz frequently done at contra dances!

● LIVE MUSIC by: HELEN GRACE KUHAR and CLARE FRASER! Hailing from Seattle, Washington, Helen Kuhar on guitar is currently from Cambridge, MA. Helen began exploring their connection to folk and Celtic music in 2020 while studying with renowned guitarist Alex Sturbaum. Clare is a traditional Irish fiddler, originally from upstate NY. She was surrounded by folk and Celtic music from a young age, playing at local sessions and for contra dances.

● ADMISSION: $15 suggested donation per person, or $10 for students per person!

● PARKING: plenty of well lighted parking.

● CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR: Just bring, clean shoes to dance in to preserve the floor (no high heels please). Dress is comfortable and as you like.

● ROLE TERMS are: "Ladies & Gents" or "Women & Men" but dancers are welcome to choose whatever role that works for them. Some do with no worries.
