Looking for your next live-music fix? Downtown Quincy is turning up the volume. The city invites music fans to “Meet Me at Kilroy,” a free, six-hour outdoor music event featuring the sounds of Green Day, Foo Fighters, and Boston’s own country-rock band Overserved Again. Taking place Saturday, October 24, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Kilroy Square in downtown Quincy, the event offers an opportunity to catch live bands, meet up with friends, and enjoy local food and beverage vendors—all in the heart of Quincy Center.
THE LINEUP
3–4:30 p.m. | Dookie — A high-energy tribute to Green Day, bringing the iconic band's punk-rock sound to the Kilroy Square stage.
5:15–6:45 p.m. | Foo Fightaz — A live Foo Fighters experience packed with the rock anthems fans know and love.
7:30–9 p.m. | Overserved Again — Boston’s own country-rock band headlines with its distinctive blend of music and storytelling.
Between sets, attendees can explore downtown Quincy’s restaurants and enjoy on-site beverage vendors Break Rock Brewing Company and Paddy Barry’s Mobile Pub.
“Kilroy Square has become a real gathering place for our community, and that’s what this event is all about,” said Mayor Koch. “We’ve got a great lineup of live music and a terrific setting. Bring some friends and enjoy the day in the downtown.”
