On March 11th, Bellavoce returns to Hancock Church for the free noontime concert series. With Ian Watson on piano, bringing their program “Light after Darkness” featuring works for women's voices by Gabriel Faure, Elaine Hagenberg, Ola Gjeilo, and Felix Mendelssohn alongside a timeless Lenten Gregorian chant, and a traditional spiritual. Contemplative readings by Natalie Dykstra, author of Chasing Beauty: The Life of Isabella Stewart Gardner will weave the music together, offering space for prayer, reflection, and renewal.
Hancock Church is wheelchair accessible and has single user accessible bathrooms. Our front entrance is accessible, and once inside you will find an elevator that goes up to Clark Hall. There is free parking in our back lot where there are ADA parking spots, and there are two more such parking spots on the side of our building.
Our Noontime Concert Series is generously supported by the Creative Expressions program of the Massachusetts Cultural Council. This grant enables us to hire top notch musicians and present them to you free of charge!
