Join us on Wednesday, March 11 from 7.00 - 8:00 p.m. for an online talk with Niki Lefebvre, Director of the Natick Historical Society, about the dispossession of rights and lands in Natick during the century leading up to the American Revolution.
Niki will also discuss new research from the Natick Historical Society's current project, Natick in the American Revolution, which highlights Indigenous men who nevertheless fought for the cause of the Patriots.
This presentation complements our 2026 exhibit “Lost Liberties - Broken Promises”, a yearlong exhibit focusing on the enslaved, indigenous, displaced Loyalists, and veterans of Weston who were on the wrong side of history. The exhibit is funded by a "Promises of the Revolution" grant from Mass Humanities with support from Mass Cultural Council.
This event is FREE - Register to receive the zoom link to join the talk. You can find registration details on our website www.goldenballtavern.org
Niki Lefebvre has been the Executive Director of the Natick Historical Society since 2018. She holds an MA in Public History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a PhD in American Studies from Boston University.
