Chameleon Arts Ensemble – Fragments and Fantasies: Schubert, Schumann, Judith Weir, Brahms
They say “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts,” and nowhere is this more evident than within the intimate confines of the duo. Schubert leans into the collective with an exhilarating theme and variations in grand, brilliante style, and Schumann takes it to the next level in a fantasy-filled partnership bursting with energy and life. Judith Weir’s ten tricksy miniatures are a study in togetherness, precision, and wit. Two hearts, four hands, and 247 strings join together to become a big, wonderful one.
