Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra- Family Concert
The Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra, led by music director Orlando Cela, will present its annual Family Concert on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, 630 Mass. Ave, Arlington, MA. Bring the whole family to find out how music helps bring stories to life! Learn about the instruments of the orchestra with Britten’s “A Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra”. The program will also feature violinist Felix Wang, the Wood Division winner of the 2024 Young Artist Competition, performing Wieniawski’s “Polonaise de Concert in D Major.” The concert will end with Prokoviev’s beloved children’s musical story of “Peter and the Wolf”, narrated by Jeff O’Neil.
Tickets will be available at the door: $2 per person, or $5 per family. This venue is wheelchair accessible. Masking is optional.
