Arlington-Belmont Chamber Chorus: Music for a Spring Evening


On Friday, May 17, 2024 at 8:00 PM, The Philharmonic Society of Arlington will present The Arlington-Belmont Chamber Chorus performing Music for a Spring Evening, at the First Parish Unitarian-Universalist, 630 Massachusetts Ave., Arlington. Barry Singer, Music Director; Amy Lee, accompanist Come and listen to the wonderful variety of music both old and new, including Cantata 150 (“Nach dir, Herr, verlanget mich”) by J.S. Bach, “Bring Us, O Lord God” by William Harris, “Crucifixus” by Antonio Lotti, and contemporary works by Boston-area composers Frank Warren, John Kramer, Kenneth Seitz, Alan Hovhaness, and John Bavicchi. The Chamber Chorus will be joined by several members of the Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra in this highly eclectic program. General Admission: $20; Seniors/Adult Students: $15; Children under 17: $5. Tickets are purchased at the door. This venue is wheelchair accessible.
