Spinning Babies® Parent Education Class highlights you and your baby’s active role in birth. During labor the baby needs to pass through the three levels of the pelvis. Learn techniques to help your pelvis and it’s muscles that support or restrict your pelvic levels. Together, you and your birth partner can use these techniques before and during labor to help “make room for baby!” Spinning Babies reveals how the baby can find optimal positions for labor, and make birth less painful, and even pleasurable! Baby’s job in labor is to rotate! Learn about Spinning Babies® Techniques Daily Essential Activities The Three Balances that help birth muscles relax and add comfort now to ease birth later Birth Positions that open the pelvis that let the baby come through more easily Involve your birth partner to help you during pregnancy for comfort in labor and birth The Spinning Babies® for Parents class is a targeted class in using the Spinning Babies techniques safely and effectively to promote the best position and preparation for your labor and birth process. Participants will receive downloadable videos and PDF reference materials for viewing at home as well as the in-person demonstration of the techniques with Bec. Bec Conant is the founder and owner of Om Births, an online platform focused on Pre and Postnatal yoga as well as all things surrounding the childbearing process. She has studied and taught yoga for over 25 years, and has trained with Cyndi Lee, Barbara Benagh, Judith Lasater, and Leslie Howard. Bec is a certified Pelvic Floor Yoga™ teacher, a Trained Childbirth educator, Spinning Babies Parent Educator, HypnoBirthing Practitioner, Meditation teacher, and Mom to her own 4-year-old boy. Her work focuses on empowering birthing people throughout the transition into parenthood and beyond and helping them find their own sangha of support both inside and out.
