Multiverse @ Andover proudly announces the performance of the Black Hole Symphony at Phillips Academy Andover's Cochran Chapel.
The Black Hole Symphony, previously celebrated as a sold-out event at prestigious venues such as the Museum of Science, Boston, and the National Academy of Science, Washington D.C., promises an unforgettable novel experience. Audiences will be transported through a captivating musical and multimedia journey inspired by the enigmatic mysteries of black holes.
Multiverse @ Andover concert advocates for the enrichment of both science and music to educate, inspire, and shape our future. The events weave together live music, lecture presentations, visual art, 3D surround sound and live science demonstrations in a cohesive, immersive and inspirational experience for our audience.
The stellar ensemble of musicians for this transcendent performance includes director of Multiverse Concerts Series, composer, and conductor Dr. David Ibbett; Soprano Agnes Coakley-Cox; violinist Ryan Shannon; flute and piccolo by Jessica Smith; and guitarist Dan Van Hassel.
Adding a lecture-based dimension to this fusion of science and art, the event will feature Dr. Martin Elvis, an esteemed scientist from the Center for Astrophysics at Harvard & Smithsonian, as the guest presenter.
