Christmas in Castleton
We have a full day of events appropriate for all ages in Castleton happening on Main Street, the Fire Station, and Post #50 American Legion. Start by bringing the little ones to the Castleton Free Library for holiday crafting, then enjoy lunch and shopping at the Christmas Market at the Texaco Station and the Village School where you can earn a FREE basket raffle ticket for every $10 you spend with our vendors. At 5pm we light up the Tree of Remembrance and then the parade down Main Street begins. Head over to Post#50 American Legion for a ham supper at $15 per person. The little ones can then enjoy cookies and a visit with Santa at the Castleton Volunteer Fire Station after the parade or ukulele music in the Castleton Free Library. Top off the night with live music from the Cold River Trio at the Post #50 American Legion for $10 per person.
